The situation you are experiencing is not due to any action on your part, but rather how your progress is tracked.

When you begin a Flow (Course) or an Asset, an "In Progress" status is recorded in your end user account. This indicates that you have at least started the content. Upon completing a Flow (Course) or an Asset, a "Completed" status is also added to your account. This does not remove the In Progress indicator; it merely adds to it.

That’s why you are noticing the different progress statuses.
