Before you send any email to any of your users... it is a BrainStorm platform best practice to send yourself or another Admin a test email. This will allow you to fully test the design of an email asset and to verify that it gets through all email servers correctly.
NOTE: You can send a test email to an email address of your choosing.
IMPORTANT: Verify that you are Managing on behalf of your customer. 
- Navigate to Content > Communications using the left side bar.  

 
- Click Create Email button to create a new email or click on an existing email asset.
 
- Click the Content tab.

 
- Enter an email address in the field provided.
 
- Click Send Test Email.
 

- Check your inbox for the email.
